I am listing the Kommando-Installer Feature Requests:

1) Module Pack - this feature is actually a Custom Tab function. A Module Pack would be a packaging of multiple modules in a simple install script. The installation script would be extremely simple to create since all it really does in download a set of interdependant modules and put them in the "Module Install Location". This feature is a rudimentary approach to the Module Dependancy and Prerequsite requirements. It also adds a layer of abstraction which simplifies a users choices- a user need not know I want "mplayer" just a "music player".

Examples would be:
Music Player (mplayer)
Music Player (amarok)
Office Suite (OpenOffice)
Office Suite (Siag)
Office Suite (Gnome Office/AbiWord)
GPS (RoadNav)
GPS (GPSDrive)

2) In the Custom Tab, have an additional ComboBox called Bundles.
A Bundle is a Grouping similar to a Pack except it is much more sophisticated grouping. For instance, there may be an Video Production Bundle, that includes all the tools needed for Video creation. Even an entire SLAX based distro can be created this way. For instance, you can download SLAX and install it on your 2GB USB Flash Drive. Then install the Guardian Angel Linux Bundle and transform your SLAX distro into G.A.L.


Examples of Bundles are:
Mathematics Bundle (Gnuplot, MuPad, R, Octave)
Artist Bundle (cinepaint, TheGimp, InkScape, POV-Ray)
Animation Bundle (Blender, PAP, SynFig, Ktoon)
Audio Production Bundle (Audacity, Jack, MuSE, FluidSynth, SpiralSynth, GLAME, LADSPA, etc)
Video Production Bundle (Aritst Bundle, Audio Production Bundle, kino, Cuisine)
Guardian Angel Linux (Secure Linux dedicated to privacy protection and secure communication)

Progress so far...

1. Fine tuning of the Package Profiles.
2. Worked on making template Package Profiles.
3. Added Nero-2.1.0.2, gizmo-project-1.1.0.39 to Sample Commercial Installers. (GoogleEarth4, RealPlayer10, FlashPlayer7, JRE1.5.0.06, Nero-2.1.0.2, gizmo-project-1.1.0.39)
4. Updated SLAX Module Master List.
5. Removed the GPL and All Tabs and associated references since they add no real advantages.
   

Need to add:

1. Interrupt Traps for scripts for clean up
2. Add space calculation
3. Add package multi-select
4. Activate Prerequisite CheckBoxes.
